Who we are

We are a ded­i­cat­ed Exec­u­tive Search & Human Cap­i­tal Advi­so­ry firm that spe­cial­izes exclu­sive­ly in the Asset Man­age­ment indus­try. We pro­vide holis­tic solu­tions in the fields of exec­u­tive search, team devel­op­ment and in the devel­op­ment of orga­ni­za­tion­al and cor­po­rate cultures.

Bal­anc­ing orga­ni­za­tion, struc­ture and process­es on one hand and moti­va­tion, rela­tion­ships and the human fac­tor on the oth­er hand is para­mount for us. The com­bi­na­tion of these ele­ments defines the val­ues of your com­pa­ny, which in turn define its cul­ture. Devel­op­ing the ways to bring suc­cess to your com­pa­ny is what we do.

Our Philosophy

We are con­vinced that apply­ing ethics in life and in work help gen­er­at­ing stake­hold­er val­ue lead­ing to sus­tain­able results and enhanced suc­cess. This we reach by a high degree of inclu­sion and con­scious deci­sion making.

Our phi­los­o­phy ori­ents itself on the “con­scious lead­er­ship prin­ci­ples”. Exec­u­tives who have rec­og­nized the sig­nif­i­cance of their own iden­ti­ty, of their per­son­al sense of pur­pose as well as of their prin­ci­ples and val­ues and who rig­or­ous­ly imple­ment these in their lives and their work, cre­ate sus­tain­able impact in their func­tion as lead­ers and executives.

It fills us with joy and hap­pi­ness to expe­ri­ence lead­ers and cor­po­ra­tions that engage them­selves with pas­sion for their con­vic­tions and thus achieve supe­ri­or results, way beyond of what they thought possible.

History

Ele­way was found­ed in 2021 by fusion of two lead­ing Asset Man­age­ment exec­u­tive search firms: Haas Asso­ciates and Volk­mann & Cie. Thanks to this com­bi­na­tion can we serve the region­al and func­tion­al needs of our clients even bet­ter. Our name «ele­way» con­sists of the two words «ele­vate» and «way». Our objec­tive is to show ways that lit­er­al­ly ele­vate our clients by means of proac­tive con­sul­ta­tion and our pro­found know-how.

Team

Christian Haas

Man­ag­ing Part­ner, Zurich

Chris­t­ian has worked for more than ten years in Asset Man­age­ment and has thus gained in-depth know-how in this indus­try. He was respon­si­ble for busi­ness devel­op­ment and insti­tu­tion­al sales both at Cred­it Suisse and M&G investments.

Chris­t­ian is also co-founder of Urban Gurus, a con­sult­ing com­pa­ny ded­i­cat­ed to assist­ing exec­u­tives in iden­ti­fy­ing and com­mu­ni­cat­ing their pur­pose clearly.

Chris­t­ian holds a B.A. in Busi­ness Admin­is­tra­tion, an Exec­u­tive Mas­ter in Change from INSEAD and he is a Char­tered Alter­na­tive Invest­ment Ana­lyst (CAIA).

Stephan Volkmann

Man­ag­ing Part­ner, Frankfurt

Stephan has more than 17 years of expe­ri­ence with­in the finan­cial indus­try. His last cor­po­rate func­tion was with Morn­ingstar, where he served as Head of Sales for Ger­many and Aus­tria. Before this, he act­ed as Sales Direc­tor for Fideli­ty, West­LB and UBS.

Build­ing on a firm foun­da­tion of how to align tal­ent and busi­ness strat­e­gy, he helps clients devel­op tai­lored solu­tions, and pro­vides ongo­ing sup­port, to help them meet their busi­ness objec­tives. Stephan rep­re­sents Urban Gurus in Ger­many, whose aim is to assist exec­u­tives in iden­ti­fy­ing and com­mu­ni­cat­ing their pur­pose clearly.

Stephan holds an M.A. in Busi­ness Admin­is­tra­tion from Saar­land Uni­ver­si­ty and he is also a Cer­ti­fied Inter­na­tion­al Invest­ment Ana­lyst (CIIA).

Christina Kuenzle

Part­ner, Zurich

Christi­na is engaged in exec­u­tive and busi­ness coach­ing in Switzer­land and inter­na­tion­al­ly for more than 20 years. Core top­ics of her work have been accom­pa­ny­ing change process­es and career man­age­ment. Before found­ing her own com­pa­ny, Choice Exec­u­tive and Busi­ness Coach­ing, she was a mem­ber of the Exec­u­tive Com­mit­tee of Sulz­er AG, respon­si­ble for Group Development.

Christi­na is also co-founder of Urban Gurus, a con­sult­ing com­pa­ny ded­i­cat­ed to assist­ing exec­u­tives in iden­ti­fy­ing and com­mu­ni­cat­ing their pur­pose clearly.

Christi­na is a busi­ness admin­is­tra­tion grad­u­ate, holds an MBA from INSEAD and a M.S. in “Coach­ing and Con­sult­ing for Change” from HEC in Paris.

Anna-Lena Sepp

Research Associate​, Frankfurt

Anna-Lena is cur­rent­ly study­ing law at the Johannes Guten­berg Uni­ver­si­ty in Mainz. She has expe­ri­ence in var­i­ous inter­na­tion­al law firms and was active in fund struc­tur­ing for Gold­ing Cap­i­tal in Munich.

In her role at ele­way, Anna-Lena works on ded­i­cat­ed recruit­ing projects, help­ing iden­ti­fy the most rel­e­vant indi­vid­u­als for each recruit­ing project. She also works on projects pro­vid­ing focused mar­ket insight (e.g., com­pen­sa­tion, orga­ni­za­tion­al struc­tures) for busi­ness devel­op­ment and project exe­cu­tion purposes.

Paulina Hardegen

Research Associate​, Frankfurt

Pauli­na is a B.S.c can­di­date in busi­ness man­age­ment at Johann Wolf­gang Goethe Uni­ver­si­ty in Frank­furt. She is a qual­i­fied bank clerk with expe­ri­ence in invest­ment management.

In her role at ele­way, Pauli­na works on ded­i­cat­ed recruit­ing projects, help­ing iden­ti­fy the most rel­e­vant indi­vid­u­als for each recruit­ing project.
